yesterday I took a quick look at the Chupa Chups 5oth Birthday Party in AC/DC lane, which also has a street art exhibition open 24hrs. I'll probably post some of the Artwork up in the next few days.

While walking to my tram stop, I saw this outside Myers, who at the time are renevating there Bourke Street Mall shop, and there is a plenty of blank walls that would make some great canvas for street art.

More Plugs

Dream

Taken on Saturday 4th of October, at the Dream Festival along the Yarra River and Birrarung Marr. It was a little surreal walking into all these white figures, and people were having there photo's with them. What would it be like with no one there?

Artist Statement: A skull, inspired by the ancient Mayan crystal versions, floats within a giant clear sphere in the work created by multi media artist, Andrew Walsh. Knowing that all of our dreams manifest themselves within our minds - within the skull – the image seemed perfect for a festival of dreams. The artist is also intrigued by the skull and it’s link with the face, the vehicle through which we represent ourselves to the world.

Own Worst Enemy

A couple of pictures from an excellent exhibition by Meggs Own Worst 'Enemy' at Don't Come Gallery. A great show with a mix of Street Art and Comic Book style work.

One of the high lights was the He-Man heads busts that were made out of plaster.
