Media Response
I found this in todays Beat (a Melbourne Music/Art free Street Press)
I had originally sent this two an email to see what or if they had any idea's about this installation(my original post is here). On my You Tube post, someone said it had something to do with the Melbourne International Arts Festival, but couldn't find anything about it.
This is my original email to them:
Hi Declan and Chris (of Art of the City)
Just wondering if you know anything of this installation that is behind the corner of La Trobe and Elizabeth Street.
I've posted some pictures here
http://streetsofmelbourne.blogspot.com/2007/10/body-bag-street-art.html
And a youtube video here
http://au.youtube.com/watch?v=57maxgTeHhY
Thanks
Greg
Here is there response:
Thanks for the writing, Greg From a perusal of your blog, I can tell you that what may look like one of John So's Laneway Commissions, or something dreamed up by MIAF, is in fact a collection of real dead bodies hanging from a wall. Given the number of victims involved, plus the evident effort made to embalm and suspend the corpses from a significant height we must assume that we are dealing with a serial killer possessing Spider-Man-esque powers. Possibly Spider-Man. I tried to glean more information from your You Tube video, but instead found you showing me how to make a zine. I never wanted to know how to make a zine, Greg. Why did you steal my innocence in this way?
I'm still undecided weather or not I should reply to these two, as they seem not to know anything about the installation and by replying will only get my reply put up in the local rag.

Body Bag Street Art
I found this the other day. I took this original picture and didn't know what it was but with closer inspection found this...
It's probably my favourite street art going at the moment. Who made? How was it made? What does it mean? Any idea please leave a comment.
